I recently moved my blog on to it’s own web host. I have just become aware that Blogger does not recognise the new feed (thanks, Adele). So I have included some information on this page about how you can update your links.
If you use Blogger and have a link to my old blog there (or want to add a new one), you can update the feed so that posts are updated as they appear in the blogroll feature. Just add a new link to your blogroll as you normally would and post this feed link into the URL box. You might need to add the www between the http:// and the domain name.
Alternatively, you can edit your current link and replace the existing URL with the feed link. This same feed also works if you want to use Blogger’s “Follow” feature. It will also work in any other reader.
You can also subscribe to this blog by clicking the RSS button on the main page, which will allow you to add the site feed to any reader.
If you have a static blogroll, then just link to the main page.
I hope that helps everyone and I do apologise for any inconvenience. I’m going to go ahead and blame Blogger, not my technical skills. Or lack thereof.
If none of the above works, or you need help, leave a comment and I’ll do my best to assist you.
Update – 19 February 2011
It appears that Blogger now does recognise the RSS feed. So you can use that in your Blogger blogroll or subscription.
Let me know if you have any difficulties and I will try my best to help you.
